Trish Sklodowski Kurzrock

Trish is a caring, empathetic counselor who provides support and guidance to her adolescent and adult clients as they discover the fortitude within themselves to create change in their lives. She utilizes evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and mindfulness techniques, to support clients experiencing trauma, PTSD, grief, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, life transitions, and chronic health conditions. Her mission is to provide individualized, client-centered care to encourage and empower her clients as they learn to navigate their personal journeys of healing and growth.

As the daughter of a 28-year police veteran, with ties to both the law enforcement and military communities, Trish is also a Certified First Responders Counselor (CFRC). 

Trish earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bradley University. Her undergraduate studies in Psychology and Gerontology at the University of St Francis focused on human behavior, grief and bereavement, and development over the life span, with a holistic perspective on health and wellness. She can be seen for in-person sessions at our Lombard office or via telehealth.
