Patricia has been working in the field of school social work for the past 23 years and previously in community mental health. She earned her Masters degree from the Crown Family School of Social Work at the University of Chicago. Patricia also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a major in Psychology. Her expertise is working with children, adolescents, and families. She has served in the capacities of: crisis intervention, school social work, and special education. Patricia believes it’s very important to meet the client where they are at and to provide a safe and collaborative space. She is compassionate and empathetic in her approach to support her clients.
