Life can feel overwhelming, whether it's stress at school or work, changes in friendships or family, or feeling anxious or unsure of yourself. Margenia, a Licensed Social Worker, supports individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and self-esteem challenges. She works with individuals to better understand their emotions and build practical skills to manage challenges in everyday life. She uses evidence-based approaches focused on coping strategies, emotional regulation, and increasing self-awareness, helping clients feel more capable and confident navigating life's ups and downs.
In addition to her clinical work, Margenia serves as a school social worker, supporting youth, adolescents, and families through academic, behavioral, and social-emotional challenges. This hands-on experience informs her grounded, compassionate approach, helping clients develop resilience, insight and confidence.
Margenia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Governors State University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
