Jason is an LPC candidate with experience in depression, anxiety, trauma, family issues, and gender-affirming care with adolescents and young adults. He primarily utilizes evidenced-based interventions from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), focusing on values, strengths, and mindfulness, as well as incorporating a multicultural lens to fully understand and empathize with the unique needs of each client. Jason strives to find ways for every client to live a meaningful life and contend with all the struggles that comes with living. You can expect Jason to be warm, encouraging, and open-minded, as well as a great listener.
Jason received his master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from DePaul University and his bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
