Erin has over twenty years of experience working with the older adult and disabled population. Erin provides specialized therapy related to conditions such as anxiety, depression, and other chronic conditions and how they affect us differently as we age. Erin earned a bachelor’s degree in social work with a minor in human behavior analysis from Northern Michigan University and went on to complete her master’s degree in social work with a minor in gerontology at Aurora University.
Erin takes a compassionate, person-centered approach to therapy, tailoring support for individual needs. Whether you are an older adult facing a life transition or a caregiver in need of family guidance, Erin finds it an honor to help navigate those challenges with a deep understanding and care.
Other therapeutic interventions used include include Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Erin holds certifications as a Certified Dementia Practitioner, Certified Grief Informed Professional, and Certified American Disabilities Act Coordinator, which all contribute to her ability to help those on their journey find positivity and goals to strive for.
